2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by STRATO. When you access the site, the hosting provider processes technical access data in server log files. This may include IP address, requested page or file, date and time, amount of data transferred, status code, referrer URL and information about browser and operating system.
Processing serves the secure and reliable operation of the website and the prevention of misuse and attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the security and availability of the website. STRATO states that IP addresses are retained for attack prevention for a maximum of seven days. Anonymised access information is distinct from these IP data: STRATO makes hosting logs available for up to the preceding six weeks, depending on the hosting product.
3. No analytics, advertising or social-media integration
This website does not use analytics or advertising tools. It does not embed social-media plugins, social-media links or external content. No first-party cookies are set for analytics or marketing. A consent banner is therefore not part of this website.
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide to handle your enquiry and communicate before entering into a contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns a contract and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the efficient handling of enquiries. Data is deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5. External appointment booking through Calendly
This website links to an external Calendly booking page; Calendly is not embedded here. When you open that external page, Calendly may already process technical access data, such as your IP address and browser information, under its own responsibility. When you book an appointment, Calendly also processes the details you enter to organise the appointment on our behalf. The legal basis for our appointment organisation is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the efficient organisation of initial contact.
Calendly also processes data in the United States. According to Calendly's current information, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, particularly the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information is available in Book a free introductory call →Opens external appointment booking with Calendly..
6. Recipients
Recipients of personal data are, where necessary, STRATO as hosting provider and Calendly when the external booking page is used. No data is transferred to social-media platforms, analytics or advertising services.
7. Your rights and right to lodge a complaint
Subject to the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing of your personal data. Please use the contact details above to exercise these rights.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The relevant authority is in particular: The State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany, email: poststelle@lfd.niedersachsen.de.
